Wordless Wednesday – Almost Lost

Hey It’s Jet Here.

My human sister, Rachel, dropped her cell phone thingie one too many times recently.  When she returned from her trip last week, her dad took her to the Apple store to determine her precious iPhone’s status.  Mom told JJ and I that teenagers have a higher rate of phone mortality than the average human.

Rachel’s friend/boy saved the night last Saturday, when he figured out how to retrieve the photos stored in her phone and transferred them to Mom’s PC.  Mom copied all the K9 photos and placed them in her “Jetty’s blog” folder for double safekeeping!  Can you imagine if the following gems were zapped into nothingness?

Don’t tell Miss Mary Ann… she thinks Dixie hates dress up!!! Oh I look distinguished don’t I?

I knew we had better pictures of Simba!

JJ’s initiation into dress up, courtesy of Rachel and Ruby!

Another great, gem saving day!

Thanks to blogpaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Hop.

  1. I’ve just hopped across from BlogPaws wordless Wednesday blog hop.
I’m glad you managed to save your photos, they look great.
    Sheba.

    • Hey Sheba, Jet here.

What a pleasure to make your acquaintance. 🙂 We cannot tell which is your blog from your comment… please let us know so we can visit you, too! Thanks for the compliment, we’ll share your kind words with my human sister, Rachel!

  2. Hey Jet,

So happy the photos were saved – We don’t want to loose the dress up pics, right?! Tee Hee

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  3. Here is a tip: If you create a Google+ account, and get the ap on your phone, all of the photos you take are automatically uploaded to your Google account. So glad she was able to retrieve her photos though. I know what it feels like to lose them all. My computer crashed and I lost about 6 years worth of photos! They were unrecoverable…..except maybe by the CIA 🙂

    • Hey Chester, Hey Gretel, Jet here. Hi Miss Jess.

OH NOOOOO… that’s terribly sad. 😦 BOL… CIA! Mom had 4 computer crashes before this computer… back in the dinosaur days… Wow, we will tell Rachel about the Google + thingie… thanks for the tip.

    • Hey it’s Jet here.

Just between us… doesn’t really bug me if it makes the humans happy. I have worn a princess crown, straw hat, clothes, scarves (mom knits)with my sister, Rachel and our young neighbor, Ruby. Mom makes us wear rain gear and my new winter coat (like 2x/yr, we live in the tropics!), too.

    • Hey Cosmo, Jet here. Hi Miss Diane.

Thanks for stopping by, so nice to meet you.

Uh… Miss Diane? Can I share something quietly? Uh… Mom has the back up thingie and forgets how to use it!

  4. awww yes…if I could count the times we hear of a teenager’s phone going missing!!! Thank goodness you did not lose those photos! ANd my big guy Jetty! Look at you all hangin’ ten out that window!! woo hoo!!

    • Hey Savvy, Jetty here. Hi Miss Linda.

BOL… I think there’s a giant teenage phone stealing magnet somewhere out there!

Awww… blushing you like that one, huh? (I LOVE hanging out the window in the winter… Mom keeps the windows up in the spring/summer/fall!)

  5. Hi sweet Jetty – whew thank goodness all those adorable pictures were saved – love the one of JJ dressing up and of course my absolute favorite – Jetty just chillin in the car feelin the breezes!! You look so handsome! – great profile pic!

It’s super hot upstairs in our house tonight so I;m sending sweaty and sticky goodnight hugs and kisses to you, JJ, Mom, Rachel and Pliffy xoxoxo (stay cool)

    • Hey it’s Jet here. Hi Miss Wendy.

Thanks for your compliments, we really need to visit and give you some lovie time!!!

Oh gosh, does that mean your AC is goofy? We lost power yesterday afternoon/evening for awhile.

Sending icy Jetty kisses and JJ hugs to you, Mr. David, Jacob, Cassie, Rex, and Barkley xoxoxoxo

  6. That’s great that those photos were saved. Fortunately, I haven’t lost everything on my phone (knock on wood), but several of my friends have. Lucky for me I upload my photos (pretty much all of my dogs) regularly.

  7. Hey Jetty, good thing your human sister has a techy friend/boy. Those pictures look wonderful. I love the one of the *cough* cat.

    Huggies and Cheese,

    Haopee

  8. Oh, I live in fear of losing my pictures. Everything’s backed up in, like, a thousand places. 🙂

What a nice friend/boy (?) to help save her pictures. Because those are some stellar pictures!

PS – if she has an iPhone, she can set it to save her pictures automatically to the cloud and they’ll also be saved on every device/computer she has an iTunes account on.

    • Hey Bella, Jet here. Hi Miss Leslie.

Backing up is super smart… we work on that a bit, too.

Oh, the friend/boy… that’s because if you say boyfriend… Rachel says… “he’s not my boyfriend!”… we all say if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, looks like a duck…

Wowee, wow, wow! she does have a brand new iPhone (we think it’s her 3rd or 4th now…) so, we’ll share your brilliant suggestion. 🙂

  9. My 17 year old godson goes through iphones like tissues. He even tried to fix one with a hammer. Unsurprisingly, it never worked again. I can’t even afford one iphone! According to said 17 year old godson my flip phone is soooo uncool. Well, it’s so MUCH cooler than the last phone I owned!

    • Hey Flo, Jet here. Hi Miss Heather.

BOL… like tissues, that’s a good one… Mom’s still giggling… because Rachel has had about 15 phones in 4+ years and Mom’s had 2, no 3 in her lifetime…come to think of it… and 1 switch was from a car theft! Mom used to say the same to Rachel… Rachel has all the cool stuff… !

  10. Hi Jet 🙂
Those are Cute dress up photos…but I hope Mommy doesn’t find this post, Jet…or she will start thinking how to dress me up *sigh*

    • Hey Papoe, Hey Kroten, Jet here.

Thanks… I know, when the girls invite us into the former “play room”… I know it can only mean one thing… (cue the dum, dumdum dum DUM… music) dress up!!! 🙂

  11. Hi Jet, we found you on the blog hop 🙂 our human is called Jet so we had to come by and have a looksie. Maybe you could get a shockproof case for the next phone? One of the builders here has one and I’ve seen how often he drops or bangs his phone, and it still works!

    • Hey Barbie, Hey Bender, Jet here. Hi Ms. Jet!

So glad you stopped by on the hop. A human named Jet, whoo hoo! (we think we goofed on your blog, please forgive us… our only excuse is that it’s 5:23 in the morning!!!)

Thank you for the phone advice, we will surely pass it on to my human, teenage sister!

Looking forward to keeping in touch with my new Jet friend! 🙂
