Oh this is EXCITING… Spring ahead… that means breakfast arrived 1 hour earlier… Yippee Yahoo!
Mom and my human sister, Rachel, did not have the same feelings about the change. Even though they both wanted to fall asleep earlier in order for the time change not to affect them as deeply, they both kept JJ and I awake until the wee hours. (hmmm… strategy??)
JJ and I permitted Mom to sleep until the usual 5 a.m. timeslot. She strangely popped out of bed and went to the kitchen instead of the office, where she usually works until we nudge her so much she feeds us breakfast. The clock usually says 6 a.m. at that moment. Anyway, she fed us at 5, except… she did this twisty thing to the oven clock and POOF! the clock read 6:00 our appropriate breakfast time.
Mom took a BIG nap and Rachel still resides under the covers!
Does that mean dinner arrives an hour earlier too? I like that idea.

Hey Bert, Jet here. We’re wishing you a really fast “Go for it” report. I had to wear the “cone of shame” for a long time last fall. Even though I knew Mom had a good reason, after a while it was like… puhleeze, can you take this thing off! So, I can only imagine needing to lay low for a while. Ask for lots of lovies, it will make the time go faster!

Hi sweet Jetty – I love this time of year (even though we loose a little sleep at the beginning!) I love when it stays light later in the day! All my furbabies seemed ok with the change – business as usual! I hope you dinner an hour earlier! Did Fluffy and Puffy seem to be off schedule or notice the change?

Hey, it’s Jet here. Hi Miss Wendy. Oh yes, we had dinner when it said 6:00 p.m. on the new schedule… I was so surprised, Mom initiated the dinner procedure without reminders from us.
Puffy, surprisingly hung out with Mom more than he has in months, I think that’s because JJ and I hung out with Rachel and my bhyf (best human young friend), Ruby!
Mom said she doesn’t mind either way, we just bring the flashlight on our morning walk and not necessarily on our evening walk!

My feline brothers, Puffy and Fluffy, did not seem to notice the change where their meals were concerned. Puffy did hang out with Mom more though. Come back and visit soon, ok Miss Pam???
Hiya Jet! You have the best attitude about this spring forward thing. My hoomans have been complaining all day. I don’t get it either. I got to hang out in the sun so much longer today!
Hey Twiggy, Hey Onyx, Hey Snotface? (is that really your name???), Jet here. Thank you, we try to stay positive around here. I liked the change much better, because sometimes, I become afraid of the night noises and my various routes and do this thing called perplex Mom. Tonight, the light stayed on longer in the sky and I walked quite nicely with my human sister, Rachel, my friend, Ruby and Mom… oh, and JJ of course!
Yep! I guess there’s nothing better than getting your food early!
