Just Thinking About Mischief Potential

Hey It’s Jet Here.

Oh, Little Miss Typist got the assertive (VBP – vocab builder project) triple “NO!” from Mom just now because she pressed the keys which caused yesterday’s post to post again (think Mom fixed that) and the post Mom and I were working on to zap into ether!  She’s sulking now, behind Mom’s chair.  No worries, JJ, breakfast will still be served in 17 minutes!

Ok, back to our original thoughts… this is how my human sister, Rachel’s room usually looks to Little Miss Curiosity and me.

Yesterday, Rachel zoomed in to pick up her ice skate blade protectors and here’s what her room looked like.

You thinking what Little Miss Carry All and I were thinking???

Another great mischief potential day!

Mischief Monday – She Started It!

Hey It’s Jet Here.

Ok, let’s get this straight from the beginning.  SHE STARTED IT!  To review:

Mom put three of Ish’s eggs in a pot to boil, set the timer and then began the 6:08 a.m. morning feeding ritual for Puffy, Fluffy, JJ and I.  Because of the inclement weather, she knew that we might need a little more time to digest and gear up for a rainy walk.

I happily jumped on my part of the couch to watch Mom get breakfast ready for herself… until I heard the unmistakable sound of cracking eggshells.  Like a bullet, I zoomed off the couch to Mom’s side.  JJ joined me after Mom signaled her off the counter.  (You know how JJ loves to get up close to watch.)  Two eggs went into a small bowl on the part of the counter across from the ovens, on the way to the table.  (Jetty, I intended to cut the third and share the halves with you and JJ.) Mom needed something from the pantry at the other end of the kitchen (crackers, Jetty).  Next thing you know, the bowl was on the floor with two glorious eggs staring JJ and I in the face.

Since you know I, Jetty the Gentleman, do NOT countersurf, I did NOT relocate the bowl.  However, no one could expect me to withstand the temptation of an egg.  When Mom rushed over to retrieve the bowl, this is what she found.

Oh boy, she was NOT pleased.  She ate the remaining egg with a glass of water after she gave JJ and I the “Naughty” speech.

Another mischievous, but, oh so yummy day.

Did Someone Say Spring Ahead?

Hey It’s Jet Here.

Oh this is EXCITING… Spring ahead… that means breakfast arrived 1 hour earlier… Yippee Yahoo!

Mom and my human sister, Rachel, did not have the same feelings about the change.  Even though they both wanted to fall asleep earlier in order for the time change not to affect them as deeply, they both kept JJ and I awake until the wee hours. (hmmm… strategy??)

JJ and I permitted Mom to sleep until the usual 5 a.m. timeslot.  She strangely popped out of bed and went to the kitchen instead of the office, where she usually works until we nudge her so much she feeds us breakfast.  The clock usually says 6 a.m. at that moment.  Anyway, she fed us at 5, except… she did this twisty thing to the oven clock and POOF! the clock read 6:00 our appropriate breakfast time.

Mom took a BIG nap and Rachel still resides under the covers!

Does that mean dinner arrives an hour earlier too?  I like that idea.

Another great spring forward day!
