Our Third Black & White Sunday: Champ – Still Hoping

Hey It’s Jet Here.

Remember Champ?  He’s the bulldog mix parked (for now) @ Dr. Schaffer’s? Mom continues to scout for options.  The only one so far… if someone brings Champ to Friends Forever, they will show him @ Petsmart on the weekends. Cross your paws and fingers for this “less adoptable guy.”

Another great day to find a forever family.

  1. Hi sweet Jetty – praying so hard that Champ finds a furever home very soon! Off to petsmart! Yesterday I saw and loved on: a long haired doxie, 2 basengies, 3 newfounlands, one golden puppy (adorable!!), a shepherd puppy, and many others! Have a pawsome day! xoxoxo

    • Hey it’s Jet here. Hi Miss Wendy.

      We are too.

Arnold, the besenji lived across the street for 13 years, he liked Mom. Oh, Miss Wendy, that sounds like a great day. You know Mom has a fondness for the fluffiest of K9s!

I’ve had lots of trouble going outside Miss Wendy, hope Cassie is ok.

Sending late night Jetty kisses and JJ hugs to you, Mr. David, Jacob, Cassie, Rex and Barkley xoxoxoxo

  2. Champ looks lovely. I hope that he finds a wonderful forever home!
PS – although your official invitation will be forthcoming, you have been invited to a party to celebrate the rescue of Mollie. Sadly, I somehow managed to mess up the link to your site. I’m not sure if you can fix a link post “posting”?

    • Hey Litchi, Hey Boks, Jet here. Hi Miss Susan.

Uh… Miss Susan? Mom did not forget to email you… she has had another weekend full of weather and tech issues. (We shall share for MM tomorrow.) She feels that she has singularly inflicted a strong irritation of carpal tunnel and elbow inflammation of the right arm/hand/wrist as a result. 😦

  3. Hi Lori. We also adopted from GRSF. I wish we could help Champ. Do you think GRSF would be okay with you posting his info on their Facebook page. Since it is mainly local people, maybe someone will know of someone that may be interested in him or could help him find a home??

    • Hey it’s Jet here.

Gosh, I do not know. What do you think? I do not want to make GRSF uncomfortable. Dr. Shaffer (Paradise Animal Center) has had him for about 7 months and cannot keep him much longer. I spoke with the Big Dog Ranch in July and they were full. I tried all the bulldog rescues in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach with no call backs. I tried Friends Forever, which, as posted will show him but cannot foster him. I’m up for ideas.

    • Hey Tootsie, Jet here.

Likewise, we always love reading about your hikes and travels… Mom keeps saying we live vicariously (VBP – vocab builder project) through you guys! (Mom’s NJ term of endearment.)

Thanks for sending positive energy Champ’s way. 🙂

    • Hey Alma, Hey Moses, Jet here.

Mom toggled over and yes, they have some similarities, except, you may not be able to tell how muscular and solid Champ is from the photo. Shiva has a softer, gentler quality to us. Cool observation.
