We Heart Thursdays

Hey, It’s Jet Here.

Ours resembles this style

JJ, Puffy, Fluffy and I love Thursdays; the day of the week when Mom does most of her work from home.  We get the Thursday feeling as soon as we wake up because Mom compiles the stuff from all the smelly receptacles into the kitchen garbage can.  Then, she cleans out the eau de ammonia smelling cat litter box extra well and puts that bag into the kitchen garbage all before serving us breakfast!

After our morning constitutional, either she gets ready to drive my human sister to school, or, she may get right to the business of working on the computer.  Usually, she will snuggle with us for a mid morning nap to allow her brain to rest for a little bit.  Mom heads out during the middle of the day for about two hours.  Twice, she took me with her in the car and said, “Jetty, we’re going to sneak into this building REALLY, REALLY fast because they do not allow dogs.”  Huh? What human invoked that silly policy?

We scampered into the front door swiftly found this stairwell thingie and I stopped.  I never saw what you humans call stairs before.  Mom coaxed me quickly up three flights of stairs, which, I did not especially enjoy.  We took a rest on the floor for about 10 minutes, waiting to meet Miss Eileen.  While Mom petted me, a human exited one of the offices in a moving chair.  She paused by me and asked if she could pet me.

I never saw a moving chair before.  If you’ve read my blog for awhile, you know I love females.  I went right over to her, meeting her knees with my nose.  Mom told her about my sister, Koko, doing pet therapy at the Miami Childrens Hospital as the woman gave me lots of lovies.  When the lady wheeled her chair away, Mom said lots of special words to me including how proud she was.  She hugged and kissed me and massaged my head and ears.

Eileen arrived shortly after and I welcomed her Jetty style.  She let me sit on her fancy couch while she chatted with Mom.

Another great, sneaky and giving back day.
