If you saw our post yesterday, you met Grammy. Ruby rang the bell on Saturday afternoon beyond excited to introduce Grammy to Mom and Rachel. Even though Mom was keeping her word and resting all afternoon and Rachel was Skyping, they couldn’t resist visiting with the soft, black & white bunny.
They stayed by the front door/dining room area, which happens to be cordoned off (VBP – Vocab Builder Project) from the furfamily members of Casa Jet by two pocket doors. Little Miss Casa Jet Welcome Committee Chairwoman and I could not believe this turn of events. We heard the ladies laughing, oohing, ahhing, chatting, and doing the clicking thingie with pictures.
Then we heard our beloved Ruby utter the words ALWAYS SAVED FOR US… “I just can’t help it, I have to CUDDLE… GRAMMY!” How did we become Chopped Liver???
Finally, they entered the kitchen with Grammy and allowed us to sniff a little. Ruby placed Grammy on the counter for safety and Mom caught a shot of Little Miss Curiosity with Ruby and Grammy.
I’ll forgive Ruby ANYTHING, but… I will call Mischief on her today!
Another great, slightly hurt feelings, day.

Wowee wow wow… we saw one award from Kirby (congrats to you as well, it’s super exciting, isn’t it???) Grammy went back to school today, so, maybe, if Ruby gets to take him home again, I can ask….
You should know by now that the new one is always the more interesting one…it won’t take long to figure out that wabbits are boring and us dogs are much more fun. I could never be close to a wabbit, mom would fear for the wabbit.

Yes, I am bred to hunt anything up to small deer size and mom is amazed at my abilities – I catch and kill which makes her sad but I can’t help myself.

OMD, Jet. There was a BUNNY in your house?!? I cannot believe Ruby got a sniff…I would have lost my mind (and probably tried to eat the bunny – it’s what we Terrier do, unfortunately).
I hope you get some extra cuddles for having to tolerate such craziness in your home!

She is just so darn cute!!! I remember working when I was pregnant I would always carry the bunnies around like little babies. I became the bunny momma lol.

Don;t fret Ruby was just temporarily enthralled (VCB!) with the cute fluffy little bunny (he sure was adorable and I just loved the picture of JJ checking him out!). I bet now that that Grammy is back at school Ruby will be showering you and JJ with her words of cuddling and love again! how could she not – you two are so awesome!
