Hannukah Bandannas & Babushkas

Hey It’s Jet Here.

We’re participating in the Channukah Crawl this year, whoo hoo! Today, felines Pumpkinpuddy and Spike are up.  Tomorrow, our fellow Florida pal, Gizmo along with Chazz share more cool Hannukah (I know, I spell it differently!) info.

Remember the pawesome gifts from my BFF Savannah made expertly by Mollie, Alfie and Miss Stella?  Well, as promised, here we are modeling our bandannas.  Mom and Miss Mary Ann goofed around and changed them to babushkas (VBP – vocab builder project) to show the item’s flexibility and our cuteness!  Remember, you can click on the photo to bigify, as Savannah says!

Oh so suave, so debonair (VBP)… I can’t help myself!

4I’m such a secure manly man, I let the ladies have their fun… I can rock a babushka, just like I rocked a crown last year!

    • Hey it’s Jet here. Hi Miss Ann.

Thanks, yeah, we can rock the babushka look… Mom says we would have fit in the ’60s/’70s, too! She has a pic of her wearing a bandanna like that! 🙂

    • Hey Blueberry, Jet here.

Not ignorant! Mom had to look it up to make sure, too… she knew babushka only as a thingie on your head!

Gosh, thanks, we kinda did rock them, didn’t we!!! BOL!

  1. Hey Jets, Jack here. Loved the pictures but Bro have to tell you that you were not wearing a babushka it is a do rag. A do-rag (also known as a doo-rag, du-rag, or durag), is a piece of cloth used to cover the top of one’s head often worn by bikers, rappers and other artists. Happy Hanukkah to all.

    • Hey Jack, Hey Ginger, Jets here. Hi Miss Rebecca.

Miss Rebecca, we hope you received our lovies so you can feel our support…

Dude, I appreciate you having my back with the do-rag comment… Bro, you’re pawesome… sending manly man chest bumps. (Mom knew all about the name, culture and stuff, however, I read your explanation in rapt (VBP) attention!)

      Happy last night of Hannukah.

    • Hey Nylablue, Jet here. Hi Miss Sherri-Ellen.

Well, you won’t be surprised to learn that Savvy and Miss Linda gifted them to us. Mollie and Alfie made them! How lucky can Little Miss Festival of Lights and I get???

Happy Hannukah to you both as well. Nes Gadol Haya Sham!

    • Hey Savvy, Big Guy here. Hi Miss Linda.

Hi from JJ and Mom Savvy… (Mom sends ear scritches, too…) Mandoggie… I like it! Yeah, I’m a good sport according to Mom! Paws back to you, Savvy! xoxoxo

      • “Oh hahaha! Now I see, sorry, you just seem like you can handle almost anythingz compared to tiny little me…yes the cone of shame as you have seen in a previous post, is exactly that..” – kirby

      • Hey Kirby, Jet here.

Dude, unfortunately, I’ve had to wear it so often, I’m kind of used to it… here in the tropics, in the spring, Mom and I seem to get bitten by ???? and both of us can’t stop scratching the bites. Mom covers her ankles with socks and I usually get the “cone”… because I’m made a mess of my back towards my tail section in the past.

Mom tells me how handsome I am, what a good guy I am, gives me extra lovies, so… what’s a guy to do???

  2. Hi sweet Jetty – Loved the pics of you and JJ enjoying latkes last night and Oh My Goodness
are n’t you the best supermodels ever with your Hanukkah wear! Lookin so great – love when you put the bandana on around your heads like a scarf! made me laugh out loud!

sending happy Hanukkah goodnight hugs and kisses to you, JJ, Mom and Rachel xoxoxo

    • Hey it’s Jet here. Hi Miss Wendy.

We knew you would get a kick out of our babushka shots!

Mom gave us another serving of Latkes and apple sauce on Wednesday night, we LOVE Hannukah!

Sending Happy Hannukah Jetty kisses and JJ hugs to you, Mr. David, Jacob, Cassie and Rex. xoxoxo

      P.S. Are you ok???

  3. Our Lady loves those bandanas, she says it is good to have something to dress up with for Hanukkah (that is how she spells it).

Thanks for the latke recipe. We will pass it on to our Man. He made over 60 latkes on the weekend for people, I am sure he would make some for us!

    • Hey Phod, Hey Lee, Jet here.

Awww, shucks, please give your Lady, Jetty kisses and JJ hugs from us… 🙂 We like the H at the beginning, too. 🙂

Whoo hoo! 60 latkes… did you guys get some tidbits? (unless there were onions involved….) The Man is a Latke Specialist! 🙂
