Hey It’s Jet Here.
Mom has not had much time to review her regular FB of late. (and no… Mr. Ron did not visit yesterday, nor has he called today. 😦 . Mom did speak to Mr. GoDaddy this morning and fixed 55% of her Kitchen Counselor 2 month old blog problem. The next 10% will require another call to Mr. GoDaddy.)
Whoops, I digress again. So… just now before hitting our comments, Mom popped over and saw this beautiful soul.
Penny shared her last years with Mom’s acquaintance, Miss Anneke. Mom used to visit Miss Anneke’s needlepoint/knitting store for over 15 years. Miss Anneke LOVES animals; she and Mom would swap stories when Mom popped in to purchase supplies. She always had rescued cats in the shop and placed dozens of cats, dogs and ducks.
Here’s what Miss Anneke wrote today:
Penny was one of our Angora Goats. She was really, really special….. She was around 4 or 5, and had been “rescued” from an auction, we got her about two years ago…. She was so gentle, and had the most loving eyes. Ever. Penny Sue. Angora Goats are very delicate animals, and a virus took her from us way too soon.
Miss Anneke, we send our condolences, Jetty kisses and JJ hugs on the loss of your sweet Penny. We know she will graze pain free Over the Rainbow bridge. Perhaps she can visit with our dear Koko and sweet Fluffy.
Another great (in general), sad for Miss Anneke, day.
Interesting looking sheep. We lived by tons of sheep in Germany but they did not look like Penny. Sorry to hear she is gone.
Hey Emma, Jet here.
Believe it or not, she is a GOAT!!! Thanks for your condolences. 🙂
Ok, I read the post but somehow had sheep in my head – dogs and reading…oops!
Hey Emma, Jet here.
Wasn’t criticizing, just wanted you to know… a few of our other anipals thought the same thing!!!
So sorry to hear about your friends loss. Such difficult times.

Hey Au, Hey Target, Hey Guido, Jet here. Hi Miss Ellen.
Even though Penny looks like a sheep with her gorgeous locks, she’s a GOAT!!!!! Mom is unfamiliar as well, we’ll have to ask Miss Anneke.
ok, more leaky eyes here…so many pawsome souls cross over way too soon…others in their time…but all leave such a mark on our humans lives…sigh
Hey Savvy, Your Champion here.
So wise, my BFF (best feline friend)… your words capture our thoughts perfectly. 🙂
Our condolences to Miss Anneke – Penny looked like a gorgeous nanny goat…
Solo and Mum 🙂
Hey Solo, Jet here.
Thanks for your thoughtfulness, we agree, she was a beauty. We’ve never seen an Angora goat before. Miss Anneke owned a yarn shop, so, most appropriate, right!
RIP Penny xx
Hey Misaki, Jet here.
You are most thoughtful. 🙂
