Hey It’s Jet Here.
Boy, Mom sure posts late sometimes. I have to cut her a break since she had two big Kitchen Counselor events and needed to catch up on sleep today.
Of course, JJ and I insisted on our 6 a.m. breakfast first! For some reason, I experienced bad mojo on my first walking attempt. Maybe, like the Olympic long jump and triple jumpers, you have to feel the wind and decide if the timing’s right! I did my “No Way, Jose” I’m not budging stance and then “u-turned” right back into the garage. I sent JJ out as my emissary (vocab builder) to test the streets and report back.
Little Miss “Morning Regularity” did her business quickly and efficiently on our exit right, immediate right route. When the ladies passed Simba’s house, they saw his human sister, Joana’s, white beetle bug car door wide open. Mom thought Joana left something in the house and ran back to get it, except it was awfully early for her to be up and out.
The girls returned, JJ gave me the “all safe” sign and off we went on our morning “pick up Miss Mary Ann’s paper” route. We passed Simba’s house again and the car door was still wide open. When we returned home, Mom used that I-Phone thingie to do that text stuff to see if Miss Joana was ok. She replied she had no idea the door was open, went out to close it and thanked us.
Another great, neighborhood watch day.
LOL you never know what you might see on a walk. I can’t imagine leaving the car door open. 🙂
Hey brown dawgs, Jet here. HI Miss Linda.
Oh Miss Linda, we have stories! Miss Joana said she didn’t know how that happened…
Hi sweet Jetty – YUP you see all kinds of neighboorhood stuff while walking very early or very late. I;m sure Miss Joana was so grateful that you guys saw it as it could have been trouble for her car.
Your neighborhood is so lucky to have great sleuths like you and JJ on patrol!!
I just got back from work at Petsmart, saw some doxies, some pittys, a bulldog pup, chiwawahs, a beautiful shephard puppy, lots of tiny dogs (yorkis, morkis, porkies etc!) they are mixing up all kinds of dogs these days! No goldens or border collies though!
hope you and JJ and your family had a nice day!
sending watchful goodnight hugs and kisses to you, JJ, Mom, Rachel, and Pluffy xoxoxo
Hey it’s Jet here. HI Miss Wendy.
Yes, Mom was a bit worried about Miss Joana. Glad it all turned out ok. Miss Wendy… when the Neighborhood Watch program began, the volunteer patrols wore certain uniforms and berets. I think JJ and I would look quite swanky in berets… in the cooler weather of course… what do you think?
Wow, Mom asked me to share that she’s a tad jealous you saw so many pawesome K9s. They are super lucky to have the Miss Wendy experience!
Sending cool house Jetty kisses and JJ hugs to you, Mr. David, Jacob, Cassie, Rex and Barkley xoxoxo
We are so good at that I’m not budging stance
Benny & Lily
Hey Benny, Hey Lily, Jet here.
Really? Do you practice much? I do, when I get um…
concernedscared… like when the weather doesn’t smell safe!I hope you are getting paid in noms for all your hard neighbourhood watch work – you will have to get yourslef the proper badge so everyone knows you is on the case, keeping the streets safe!
Hey Dalton, Jet here.
Dude… nothing, no noms, praise and lovies… well, we enjoy those too… in the US, the first neighborhood watches had uniforms and berets… JJ and I would look quite pretty/handsome in a beret… in the cooler weather!
If dat was here, the car would of been gone by now bol 🙂
Have a great day 🙂 xx
Hey Mollie, Hey Alfie, Jet here.
Mom thought about that too. We’ve had a good bit of naughty human behavior over the last year on our 2 blocks (we live on a corner.) Have a great day as well. 🙂
I love that you have a neighbourhood watch. Maybe I should start one too? But do you get extra treats for that??
Hey Misaki, Jet here.
hmpf… no… Mom did tell JJ and I how proud she was of our caring natures. She gave us extra lovies… guess that will have to do.
I’d feel better with and JJ on my neighborhood watch, Jetty. A few summers ago we had thieves breaking into cars.:-( I hope that wasn’t the case with Miss Joana.
Hey Sampson, Hey Delilah, Jetty here. Hi Miss Jodi.
I’m happy to report that Miss Joana’s car was not vandalized or worse! 🙂
Well what good neighbours you are. I wonder if the door had been open all night?
Hey Litchi, Jet here. HI Miss Susan,
We wondered (and worried) the same thing…
Thank you for the compliment!
Hi jetty!!! Oh big guy, I am so sorry for being missing in action for so long! I am trying to catch up now on comments….and I think you do neighborhood watch just great! Wish our neighborhood was like that. Heck, we don’t even know our neighbors’ names, let alone their phone numbers!! MOL paw pats, Savannay
Hey Savvy, Big Guy here. Hi Miss Linda.
Never need to apologize to your Champion, we love and accept you as you all are!
When you live in “H” land, you often find yourselves outside cutting limbs, needing to borrow phones and resources, or bbqing everything in your freezer and fridge b4 you lose it… so, that’s how you meet your neighbors!!! Plus, with K9s and a friendly Mom, you get to know neighbors even better! 🙂
