Neve stopped by with Miss Beverly to chat for a few minutes last week. We played, had a treat, and then… Neve wanted some water. Mom offered to get Neve her own bowl, however, Miss Beverly said don’t bother …. Oh, by the way, Neve turned lucky 7 not 6, whoops!

Neve means snow in portuguese, is that more than a coincidence because of Neve’s fur?

The words are similiar in Spanish, too… we asked and I believe Miss Beverly said yes. Mr. Giovanni is Italian and I think the meaning is the same… I’ll investigate again, Doggy and confirm.
Mom says to tell you all that, indeed, my name, Neve, means snow in italian. Although, between you and me, I don’t always stay so snowy white!

Face it humans, no pet likes a clean water bowl. Even the cats prefer to drink out of the dog bowl – something about sharing water makes it taste better to us furry ones!

So true. Our sweet Fluffy used to jump up on our feeding station to drink from our bowl even though he had his own in the laundry room and always drank from Mom’s bathroom sink! The Puffster does it to annoy us… he leaves litter tidbits in our bowl! Mom’s pretty good about changing our water frequently and cleaning the bowl!
